Art/ Engage is a social services organization that presents art appreciation and art making classes to people of all ages and abilities. Programs are conducted virtually, or in person at senior centers, hospice homes, adult day centers, and facilities that offer after school programs. Intensive one:one support is also available for home bound individuals.
The mission of Art/Engage is to foster meaningful exchanges using art mediums as a bridge for communication. Participants explore some of the world's most famous masterpieces and experience these works using multi-sensory tools.
The two primary goals of Art/Engage are:
To become a leader of research-based art appreciation programs for individuals of all abilities that encourage critical thinking as well as oral and artistic expression.
To enrich the individual's quality of life by creating a nurturing environment for creativity to flourish and family members and caregivers to also participate in the sessions.
